Watch: Washington Commanders rookie CB Trey Amos celebrates the end of minicamp

By David Web

The Washington Commanders‘ offseason is over. They completed their three-day minicamp on Thursday and are now off for around six weeks until they report back to Ashburn for training camp next month.

So, of course, summer vacation means it’s time for a celebration. Like when school lets out for the summer, NFL players are excited for the last break they’ll receive until after the upcoming season. Leading Washington’s celebration on Thursday was rookie cornerback Trey Amos.

Check Amos out, dancing as his teammates surround him and join in.

The second-round pick from Ole Miss has had an outstanding spring and has Washington excited about its cornerback position in 2025 and beyond. In addition to Amos, the Commanders have a healthy Marshon Lattimore, 2024 rookie sensation Mike Sainristil, and veterans Jonathan Jones and Noah Igbinoghene. It’s a much different-looking group than it was at this time one year ago.

As for Amos, he wasn’t done dancing. Here he is with Major Tuddy.

Vibes are indeed high heading into summer break.
