Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase does Griddy, charges mound at Logan Wilson celebrity softball game

By David Web

Ja’Marr Chase, who won the receiving triple crown during the 2024 NFL season for the Cincinnati Bengals, was among participants in the Logan Wilson celebrity softball game Wednesday, June 11, at Day Air Ballpark, home of the Dayton Dragons.

Chase did his patented Griddy celebration as he scored a run, and even jokingly charged the mound when hit by a pitch.

Before the game, tight end Tanner Hudson won the Home Run Derby, against a field that included Bengals’ teammates, an All-Star Sports Academy player and recently retired former MLB All-Star Josh Harrison.

Hudson also hit a home run during the game, which included a fundraising initiative for the Brooks Joshua Anderson Foundation, a 501(c)3 sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) research program and scholarship fund.
