Manchester City: Pep Guardiola remains reserved despite victory at Real Madrid

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City defeated Real Madrid on Wednesday night in the Champions League. Yet the Spanish tactician is far from getting carried away.
Despite the 2-1 win in Madrid in the Champions League last night, Pep Guardiola is keeping his feet firmly on the ground. The Manchester City boss wasn’t entirely satisfied with his team’s performance against Real.
“We’re not ready, we’re still far from it. We’ll be better in February. We’ve played matches like this before, and we’ve even performed better in games we lost. The players put in a big effort, but we still have a lot of progress to make,” admitted the former Barcelona coach.
