Tennessee football offers 2027 defensive lineman from South Carolina

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to four-star defensive lineman Seth Tillman.

“I am excited to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Tillman announced.

The 6-foot-3, 256-pound prospect is from South Pointe High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 6 defensive lineman in the class and No. 3 player in South Carolina.

Maryland was the first school to offer Tillman a scholarship on Jan. 13. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Liberty, Kentucky, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, Appalachian State, Syracuse, South Carolina, Boston College Arkansas, North Carolina State, Clemson and Nebraska.

Linebacker JP Peace was Tennessee’s only 2027 football commitment.

Tennessee has 24 commitments in its 2026 football recruiting class: quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, offensive tackle  Gabriel Osenda, linebacker Braylon Outlaw, defensive lineman CJ Edwards, defensive lineman Zach Groves, safety KJ McClain, safety Luke Thompson, defensive end Kedric Golston II, offensive lineman Edward Baker, wide receiver Zaydyn Anderson, quarterback Legend Bey, defensive lineman Dereon Albert, linebacker TJ White, cornerback Jamyan Theodore, defensive lineman Darryl Rivers, wide receiver Javonte Smith, linebacker Brayden Rouse, safety Jowell Combay, athlete Joel Wyatt, athlete Salesi Moa, offensive tackle Kamari Blair, wide receiver Tristen Keys and defensive end Hezekiah Harris.
